      Help with RCs

This isn't a good thing for me to say, especially for someone who hasn't had a lucid dream yet, but I keep forgetting to do reality checks. What's a good way to remember to do them? I know what my dreamsign is, but can't exactly apply a reality check when I encounter it, as the sign is famous women. Would watching tv suffice when someone comes on? Do reality checks have to be done even if nothing bizarre or remotely dreamlike occurs?

Now let's say you are some enigmatic entity that can travel between and become a conscious part of people's dreams when we're sleeping. What advice would YOU say to someone who has just become lucid for the very first time so they don't wake themselves up? And what would you suggest they attempt in their first lucid experience, as well as other lucids they may have next?

Hello there. You do not need to reality check ONLY when you see your dream sign. If you watch tv and see some famous women, you can surely do a reality check. But I think you can also do this: In waking life, when you see women, try to wonder if they are famous or someone you know. That way, you'll have that 'questioning reality' thing going on even if you don't necessarily see famous women. You don't even have to do physical RC's. You can just do it in your head, and just question whether you might be dreaming or not. If you want, you can wear a rubber band or something around your wrist, and everytime you notice it, you can do a reality check (mental or physical), and it can be as simple as "am i dreaming?" or "what am i doing right now?" or "does this scene make sense?".

Hmm if I were an 'enigmatic entity' and talked to someone who got lucid, I'd probably say something like: "Bro, relax. Now rub your hands and notice your environment. Cool huh?"

For things to do, well flying is really a common goal. Perhaps simple flying for the first time, or maybe using a superpower like telekinesis or try to summon an object. Try to keep it simple for your first time because it might be too much. You can always do more extreme things once you have a few lucids under your belt

      Good luck!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

The rubber band sounds like a fantastic idea! I'm definitely gonna do that, it will help for sure. Thanks!
