"HI" and vibrations at the beginning of sleep

Not sure if this is the right forum for this...

Last few nights, while falling asleep for the first time of the night (day actually because I'm a third shifter), I've been getting this weird vibration about ten minutes after I lay down. It goes about a minute and then I get a quick "HI" before drifting of to sleep a few minutes later. I say "HI" but it's more like a detailed split second image that I can't understand/fully make out, though it seems very realistic. I'm not trying to WILD or anything as I'm just going to bed.

Is this normal or happen to you?
Is this helping or hindering my lucidity in any way?

      p.s.
Not sure if it's a coincidence or not but a few nights before this started happening, I changed a few things in an attempt to break my 2 month lucid dry spell.

I started wearing ear plugs (for both blocking out the kids, and it helps me concentrate on breathing more as it's louder).

I have increased my pre-sleep meditation.

After my meditation, I do about 5 minutes of mantra repeating. I have changed my mantra to be drastically shorter than my previous one.

If you're ever fed up with life, try having kids. It'll never be the same...
Plus you can do all that cool kid stuff again without looking like a creep. Bounce House, here I come!!!

Everyone else has a picture down here so here's the best band ever...

Don't worry, It's normal process of falling to sleep, most of people are usually unconscious during it. That you are getting it means that you got more aware of when you fall asleep even though only for a while, and since it means that you are more aware of your sleep it's pretty good for lucid dreaming.
HI before sleep happens to me almost always now as well as sound variation of those, haven't ever got vibrations even during my WILD attempts though.

I completely agree with checker. It's perfectly normal.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
