where have all the the good LDs gone?

has anyone else noticed (aside from the noobies) that all the great mythical amazing adventurous LDs explained in vivid detail have totally disapeared from the forum?
so i have a question, is it that no one has these anymore, or is it that they just dont take the time to post them, lately all iv seen is noob LDs and usually theres arent that great () but anyway the lack of reading truly great LDs has made my LDs pretty boring since i dont have much to motivate me (this is probably the same for noobs too)

anyway has anyone else noticed this?

I've noticed it as well. I used to visit the 'Lucid Experiences' forum frequently to read such dreams, because they motivated and inspired me. I haven't seen many that do that anymore. Perhaps they're all posted in dreamjournals now, and nobody bothers to link to them? Or perhaps we've just all grown lazy and don't bother making good, long posts on our incredible dreams anymore.

Now I'm gonna have to improve my LD skills and come up with such a dream to post.

I'm probably too much of a newbie to remember the time you were talking about

but that sounds like a really great idea. Unfortunately, I doubt any of my dreams are interesting to people other than myself... they're certainly rarely 'epic' heheh.

I'd love to see posts of people telling us about really cool things they've done, it would give me something to aim for.

So, own up, who's done something particularly great recently?

Maybe our dreams are linked in some way and the whole world is going threw a dry spell so to speak. I do believe in the individual mind and being independent but also, you many have noticed a universal truth.

      I've noticed this as well.

Unfortunately, I haven't had my share of "epic" or "mind-blowing" lucid dreams in quite a while. The few lucid dreams I've had were so short that it was all I could do to remember the lucid task of the month and try to accomplish that before I woke up!

I do miss reading about those wondrous lucid dreams as they not only inspired me to have LDs but gave me ideas on what to shoot for when I finally was able to get lucid.

could it be a seasonal thing? anyone noticed having funkier dreams in winter?

or it could be because i've perfected my dream stealing device, and i've got them all bottled up in the basement ready to sell back at a profit.

well im going to start trying to have amazing LDs again, I can LD at will but like others usually I just do the lucid task or just have sex or something stupid, but the main reason i dont post myt amazing ones is because im just lazy i guess ill start posting good ones again instead of keeping them for myself

I had an experience that i wrote down in the "Lucid Experiences" forum, not sure if its worth reading but here is the link:-

      http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12804

I write my Lucid Dreams in my Dream Journal - i guess they interest me when i have them and write them down.
