      Talking Newbie with a question.

First of all forgive me about my english.
I am new to lucid dreaming (kind of, I had some info about LD but never took it serious). but now I really want to learn LDreaming. I sleep 11PM and wake up for WBTB about 5AM or 5:30AM for trying to record a dream (if i remember) then i sleep again and wake up 8:30 in the morning (and record a dream. if i dont feel lazy). and i cant sleep after 8:30. so my question is can i learn lucid dreaming for sleeping this enough. The lucid dreaming technique i am about to use is DILD. and tell me some tips for beginner like me. Thank you all. i have been following this forum for sometime but had to register now.

Welcome to the forums. Don't worry about your English it is better than most native speakers.

Make sure when you do a WBTB to stay awake for a while before you go back to bed. This will help your brain "wake up" so that when you go back to bed you have a higher chances of lucid dreaming. It usually makes sense to stay awake for around half an hour but you can experiment with the times.
When you are DILDing remember to use a variety of reality checks in real life.

From 11 till 8:30 sleep is definitelly long enough for lucid dreams. It is true, that DILDs happen most of the time in the morning after long sleep, but they can also happen at any time. My first one was only after 3 hrs. of sleep.

So for DILDs, practice reality checks, daytime awareness and mantras. Write your dreams in a dream journal. Think about dreams and lucid dreaming often, be excited about it, read and post here on DV.

Check out our DV Academy and classes and join, if you feel like it.

Here is my collection of techniques for DILD. More of DILD tutorials are in DV Wiki. Happy dreams

This is the answer I wanted. I thought that I need to sleep like 10AM or something like that to have lucid dreams. Thank you all.
