I try so hard to induce a lucid dream with a bunch of different techniques but it seems to never work, but then randomly ill be regularly dreaming from just going to sleep normally and ill have a lucid dream. Only happens like once a month tho. i give a new technique that i try atleast 2-3 weeks before i try a new one idk maybe im just not doing something right. |

ExtraSour, I wonder the same thing myself. While I am a once-a-week lucid dreamer (not once a month), it seems really random to me. Or, maybe we all have a built-in schedule once we learn to LD. I am still hoping to figure out how to get to the next level, myself. I truly think it is possible, but nothing worthwhile is easy and there is probably no silver bullet that fits everyone. |

Sometimes we can get lucid dreams when we expect them least, though maybe you should concentrate on the technique that you feel like will work the most instead of jumping around between them. For some people it takes a while for a technique to start clicking with them, keep trying and eventually you'll get it. |

Yeah this happens with a lot of people, including my self ( Especially my self) you know all the techniques and chances are you have had quite a few lucid dreams, if u want to gather a little more control on how much u lucid dream, keep up dream checks throughout the day It should help them be more consistent. |

ive tried fild ive tried ssild ive tried wild and a little bit of deild but ive never tried dild. maybe that one will work for me hopefully. it seems as if all the lucid dreams ive had were me noticing something wrong and it clicking that i was dreaming THEN i do a reality check. ive never had a lucid dream where i did a reality check first then became lucid. |

WILD and DEILD are a lot easier if you know the "feeling" of an LD. That is why DILD is normally easier to start off with. Check out Naiya's threads. |

Yup, go for DILD, it's normally method of choice for the most of people who start with lucid dreaming, and since you already sometimes reaching enough awareness to notice things that are wrong in dreams, it will be easier to train awareness to be higher. |
