Hello everyone, I'm new here. Something strange happened last night and I hope you all can help me understand it a little better. Ok, so first off I've been recently having episodes of seemingly typical SP. Either as I go to sleep or as I wake up. Usually lasts for a minute then I come to. That lead me to wanting to start trying to induce LDs. Sooo, I downloaded an app on my phone which produces isochronic tones for LD induction as you go to bed. I used it for the first time last night. I fell asleep and was then wakened by a loud popping noise, but I was in my moms house with my bed in the living room. I don't live there any more and my bed was in a different spot. I realized that I was paralyzed and I remember my intention of lucid dreaming. Now, this whole time I thought I was in real life. Everything about the SP was exactly how I've expereinced it before. I tried to will myself out of my body but quit because I was uncomfortable. The whole time I layed there I felt the sensation of an air conditioner blowing on the top of my head. I finally wake my body up and I walk around the room extremely disoriented. I go to the fridge to get a drink and I grabbed a blue powerade which I thought belonged to my little sisters but she wouldn't mind. It was frosted on top for some reason. I take a sip and then I wake up for real. Very confused I might add. And my brain felt like electricity was running through it.. So if anyone has some insight it would be greatly appreciated! I'll be trying it again tonight. |

Thanks man, I'll keep that in mind definately. Well I tried again last night, but I just remember two very detailed odd dreams. They seem to be more about my real life than normal. I feel close though! |

Hey there, definitely agree with reality checking everytime you wake up, no matter where you are. |

Thanks guys. So far I've been unsuccessful but I feel it's due to the fact that my work has me on days AND nights and it's ruined my sleep schedule. I was on a steady 11 to 7 schedule but they kinda screwed that all up. |

I had got some of my first lucid dreams when my sleep schedule was just ridiculous and all over the place, so it's definitely possible, though having stable schedule is still better. |

Thanks man, that helps. |
