      2nd Person Dreams

Does anyone else here have dreams in the 2nd person?

I have noticed recently that a lot of my dreams are in the second person and even my first Lucid Dream was partly in Second Person, so I was wondering if anyone else here has them and if there is a way to get back in your body. I was also wondering if you have control over your body when you are in a lucid dream and in 2nd person perspective.

Maybe you could grab his hand near a mirror and both of you go threw hand first and as you go threw hope you will be one when you get to the other side.

whenever i'm not in first person, i feel like i'm watching a movie and i have limited control. It's weird. The me does things i would do if i were in first person.....

meh...I haven't figured out how to switch POV"s, but i dont really care either. It's not something i worry about.

Do you mean 3rd person? (Second person is the "you" form, third person is "he, she it",) Third person dreams would be like watching someone else's dream or life unfold. I don't really understand how a 2nd person dream would work.

If 2nd person is what you mean, could you perhaps...elaborate?

Well it's second person dreams, because I am only looking at my perspective on things, but I am not "in" me. Basically, I am watching myself doing things, and if it's a lucid dream I can control what I am doing; I am just not in first person perspective.

3rd person is when you're controlling yourself from a different perspective instead of yourself.

Yeah, I've had 3rd person dreams like that, but I don't think I've gone lucid in them. But the whole dream isn't in 3rd person either. I'll be in first person, then it will switch to third person, and just jump around from there. Like one of those crappy car chase scenes in those movies.

Yeah, third person dreams tend to be a projection - higher plane / different sleep state to lucid. I've never experienced a lucid dream and projection at the same time (maybe I didn't remember?) - it's usually one or the other. Only you can tell the difference because you had the dream/remember the details.
