I've had the same type of thing- but with a female: feeling a connection that was unexplainable- but the thing was, I never got to see her face. I just sort of knew she was the one for me. |

OK so a couple nights ago I had a normal dream and there was this guy. I don't believe I've ever met him in real life and I didn't really know him that well in the dream, but I feel this strong connection to him and I am so fixed on having a lucid dream so I can meet him and actually get to know him consciously. Some people might think this is weird, but since I've never actually had a boyfriend I think this would be healthy for me as practice. I have already made rules like eventually he has to leave so I don't get depressed to be awake and go crazy, but what are your thoughts? |

I keep thinking about that, but I think that knowing that would ruin the experience so one of my rules would be not to be told who he represents until after he "leaves" |

I have experienced something similar. Somehow we agreed to be 'dreamfriends' since I am quite certain that she doesn't exist in waking life. We are quite similar and have just been doing fun stuff in my dreams together |

Saying there is no alien life in the universe is like dipping a cup in the ocean and saying there are no whales.
i feel the same way about my dream guide. not sure if i should be ashamed or not |

No one should be ashamed or think themselves crazy just for having fun, this is what lucid dreaming is about! You may know the cake you're eating is not real but is that reason enough for you to run away and refuse to enjoy it? What is real even and why is it so often misplaced and overrated? |

Intending and expecting I lock my target, proceeding to imagine how it will come to pass.
yeah, thats what i'm thinking. if its okay to explore sexual fantasies in dream, then why not have, there's probably a better term, but it escapes me at the moment, love fantasies? as long as it doesn't negatively impact waking life, i don't see the issue. |
