I wanted to know since this is a challenge for me.. I've had only very few long lucid dreams, like 5 minutes.. I can't seem to do more than that.. My average lucid time is like 1-3 minutes and some I've had is just less than 10 or 30 seconds.. Is there some way to improve this other than rubbing hands or circling around?? and how long can you stay lucid and how can you do it? |

Analyze what's happening when your lucids are ending. Try to find patterns. |

One thing that I have not tried yet but other people have great success with is chaining lucid dreams using a technique called Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dreaming (DEILD) - check out the tutorial http://www.dreamviews.com/wiki/DEILD-Tutorial. Also check out the tutorial on dream stabilization http://www.dreamviews.com/wiki/Dream...arity-Tutorial -- in my latest lucid dream I think it really helped me that I looked at my hands with the intension of stabilizing the lucid dream, so hopefully that could work for you as well. Best! |

Another thing you could try, though it requires a fair bit of dream control, is to somehow slow down your perception of time in the dream. Stabilization should be your first priority, though. As for what the upper limit on time in a lucid dream is, unless your taking supplements or have fallen into a lucid coma, in terms of real world time, probably a few hours. In dream time, assuming your able to slow down your perception enough, you could spend years in there. |
