Talking Finally had a vivid lucid after a long time! Also a weird question

Weird thing is, I haven't been doing my awareness training for a couple days. Maybe my brain just needed a break.
So it lasted about 20 seconds or so. I've recently started going to the gym so I've been 'mirin myself a lot. Well I ended up doing it in my dreams and my body was colored weird, like vains were yellow and I had a red tint. So I knew something was wrong and pushed my finger through my hand, took a bit of effort but I got it. So it wasn't very vivid but I rubbed my hands and in a couple seconds it was fully blown vivid.
But here's where the weird part is that I have a question on, it was very hard to breathe in the dream, like I had just run a marathon and was struggling for air. Soon after I woke up. What should I do about that?

      My environment
      Bedroom
About 4-5 AM the lucid occured
Very cold, I had the fan on and it was freezing outside. Maybe that's why I was breathing so hard? Will have to experiment with temperature and lucid ability
      Spoiler for Secret to LDing:

Some people seem to think their body and minds build types of defense mechanisms.. something that will go against your LD and cause you to wake up. If you've had lucids before though with no problem, I'd say that's probably not the case. Maybe you were so excited about going lucid that you got anxious which made it harder for you to breathe in the dream? My advice is to be chill when you go lucid and don't get too excited. Makes things more vivid and the overall experience lasts longer, at least for me.

The very first time I had lucid dream I had similar difficulties too. This can happen when something sudden or surprising happens, like becoming vivid suddenly.

Most of the time, these sensations we experience in dreams are just some way for us to get involved and abosrbed into the dream's plot. Many times they're just random occurences, and other times they seem to recur like for me, I always seem to run slow on dreams, even lucids.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it keeps happening. The thing is, if you start believing it's actually a problem, it'll just happen more often. So just tell yourself it was a one-time thing, and hopefully it was!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
