How does a Lucid Dream End?

How do u 1337's end ur lucid dreams? Mine always end b/c I suck at lucid dreaming and I cant keep um going!

I will either loose lucidity and lapse back into a normal dream or I will awaken. 90% of the time, I awaken. It is pretty abrupt for me though. 50% of the time I awaken instantly, the other 50% is kind of a fade to black thing and I open my eyes.

that has always been my problem. I just dont remember how they end. I get to a certain point and then blank. So i'm guessing i either wake up, lost lucidity or just plain dont remember.

i tend to wake up right at the end of a dream, occationally it goes black first, but usually the dream ends and i am awake, it happens really fast.

Often it tends to fade to black, and there will be a transition period of a few seconds where I seem to be floating in empty space before I wake. Sometimes it's too short to react to, but often this gives me an opportunity to spin in order to try and prolong the dream. Sometimes I get back into the dream and other times get weird things happen, for example, once I had a vision of strange bright patterns that looked almost like red stainglass windows against a totally black background that slowly changed to green from the centre, whilst I could hear Shpongle's "Behind Closed Eyelids" track playing in my head.

Mine mostly just fades too. I do get them going into another dream though. Which really sucks because its a lucid killer. You will almost always have more problems with dream recall if you go into another dream.

Exactly same thing happened to me this moring i had a ld then went into a nother dream somewhat remembered the dream i just had in my second dream for some reason but did not thinkg anything of it (wasnt lucid in second yet) second dream went on woke up and i only remembered the second one

My lucid dreams end abruptly with less than a second transition between a dream and a waking world. Sometimes I end LDs at will, especially when they become too chaotic or I dont want to forget something important. Interesting thing is that I can reenter some of my LDs, especially if they ended during a relatively clear scene. I just recreate a scene in my mind upon awakening and within seconds I'm back in the dream
