Wondering about this lucid dream stuff.

Hey, I'm a virgin and as such never had sex etc etc.

I really struggle to get through a sex dream it always ends just as I'm getting close to penetration.

Today though I had a sexual dream and well I ended up giving oral, I did that I dreamt of the whole thing, I felt it all too as if it was real.

How is it possible for me to dream one thing but not the other?

      Second question is...

Obviously there are these movies where people actually cum when they are having lucid dreams. I've never done that. Is this due to me being a virgin or is there just something wrong with me?

Dreams are odd. There's every chance you can't dream of penetrative sex because you've never had it, and maybe you subconsciously don't want to yet? I honestly haven't a clue. Dreams are strange and any answers you get to that questions will be partly unreliable because they will just be guesses.

No. there's nothing wrong with you and I doubt it's anything to do with being a virgin. Everybody is different, so you're just fine. You just aren't one of the people who experience that.

One thing I will say is this: Don't place your faith in movies. They are fictional, made up, and most likely will not portray realistic results or scenarios.

      ^ What he said.

Plus: I would caution you that if you do experience something in your dream that you have never experienced in waking life, you may later find out that the waking experience is very different, because the dream is based on your imagination of what it would be like, but you may be imagining it differently from what the waking life experience actually feels.
You may say I'm a dreamer.

I second both of those replies... I'd like to add that I've never reached climax during a dream either although there was a time or two that I definitely felt something. And to be honest most of my dreams that steered their way toward sex also ended before penetration, but not all.
