Smile Taking a nap on the sofa was the best decision I have made all day, after 1 and half years of trying

TL;DR: Fell asleep on sofa, had an OBE, was glued stiff to the sofa

(Prepare for horrible English, just woken up!)

I went downstairs to keep the dogs company and ended up falling asleep on the sofa, when I woke up, I was in that groggy state and I could hear the dogs but kept my eyes closed. then it got weird, a big rush of energy went through me and after I looked to my left and the living room TV was next to me, which is odd because I shouldn't be able to see it from where I was laying. I realized that I was having an out of body experience, I wouldn't known otherwise because the living room looked exactly like it did when I was awake. The annoying thing was that it was incredibly hard to move, I managed to stand up off the sofa but then I was snapped back to my body again and woke up. Felt the rush again and this time, it was even harder to open my eyes or move, literally, couldn't even turn my head. Pretty sure I was still dreaming, everything I thought of appeared in the living room with me but for the love of god could not move a muscle, probably because I was still in sleep paralysis. Meh I dunno.

Feel so happy though. Been trying to do the above for so long

      20 - 30 minutes I think. I honestly have no idea so that's a rough guess

      Interesting!

Sometimes after a long period of intense effort, just relaxing does the trick. I fact I would argue that intense work followed by relaxation is an essential technique for all kinds of creative work.

I always argue that forcing your self to lucid dream will only slow the process, but not doing anything is also not a way.

Exactly, Flow. It requires a fine balance and is quite literally a head game.
