      Weird Experience - WILD maybe?

Not really sure where to put this, but I had this experience just recently and I don't know what to make of it.

So I was on the verge of falling asleep, and I was seeing a dream scene (to me it seemed more day dream like, I kinda got lost in the dream world but still somehow knew I was in my bedroom). And in this dream scene I fell and hit my head, I felt the pain, "waking" me from the dream, back to my bedroom. I still felt the pain for about 3 seconds afterwards, even though I knew it wasn't real.

My question now is: Could this have become a WILD? (Didn't intend to) Or what else can I make of it?

      Thanks in advance,

      Chris

Yes, it sounds like the beginning of a dream to me, you just have to take your awareness of being in your bedroom, and replace it with the awareness of being in your room. Thinking of your physical body can set you behind in WILD attempts as it can wake you up or make the dream very short.

Whenever I feel strange sensations, I immediatelly starts to view it as a dream, because I mean in a sense it is. It's just that I am not fully connected to it yet.
But instead of relaying on random sensations such as imagery or vibrations and all that, since I already view it as a dream I use a little dream control.

I do this both to reality check and see that this really is a dream but also to transition.

What I like to do is to use my kinestethic imagination of holding something solid such as a coffemug or anything else really.

And when I feel it I know that I am in a non-physical focus and I basically get out of my bed, and usually I am in a dream version of my room.

This isn't completely bullet proof, but good enough in my opinion.

Sometimes I don't feel anything and later on wake up to realize that I was in fact in a dream already.

So the moral of the story is to NEVER expect that you are awake, in fact get a little paranoid of it all and expect every awakening to be a dream.

In conclusion: Yes you can WILD on every awakening and you should therefore always try and start out by using dream control to see if it is a dream, but if nothing happens then you can either reality check the normal way or just go back to sleep.

      Good luck!
