Different looking Ex-GF reacurring DC

I broke up with my girl friend 4 or so months ago, however since i developed my dream recall skills (last month or so) i have noticed that she has been in alot of my dreams, a couple times a week maybe. However, in the dreams she never looks like her waking self, in real life she has blond hair blue eyes, in my dreams shes has brown hair and blue or maybe green eyes, im not really sure, but other aspects of her are different too, however everytime i see the DC i i know its her. The experiences in the dreams are always friend situations, not gf/bf things. Has anyone else had simmilar experiences where a DC was a person from waking life but looked different but you always recognized them? I have a theory about what it means, I figure that for some reason my mind associates her with love, and that i will meet someone whom i will end up loving who will look like the dream character.

Hullo Mate I very rarely ever dream with people I know in them. Only if I've been thinking about them constantly. But once I did have a dream where a group of friends was standing in a row, but each of their faces was on the wrong body. I'm not sure if that counts, but I knew they weren't who they seemed. But then the dream got outta hand, and let's just say the trees will never be the same again. Cheers mate!

weird, i think that almost all my DC or at least of most of them are people i know.

This happens to me in almost every dream. Its more broad though, for instance, I will see something (a jet) and immediatley know that terrorists took it and I need to keep it from taking off. That was really f'ing cool dream BTW.
