Need help / advice on WBTB issues.

Hi, so I was just wondering if anyone else experiences this issue regarding WBTB attempts.

I would go to sleep like normal, set my alarm to 4-6 hours after I go to sleep as to attempt to initiate a LD in my REM cycle.

Only problem is once the alarm wakes me up and I put it off, I get an unbearable urge to stretch out, as my body is extremely tense and needs to stretch to alleviate the tenseness.

Basically what I'm asking is, is it ok to stretch upon waking up? Won't stretching wake me up more, or, delay the process of transitioning into a LD?

      Thanks, Jay

Hey Raphael, this happens to me too.

I don't think stretching would wake you up too much. Feeling uncomfortable and wanting to stretch would probably keep you from falling back asleep just as bad, if not worse, than stretching.

I think that, in fact, stretching is good because it relaxes your body, alleviating the tense as you said. Because you feel better, you'll have better conditions for a great LD.
