Im 90% sure I would suffocate myself if I slept on my stomach. |

I sleep without a pillow and when I sleep on my stomach it seems like the sleep paralyis works better. I don't know how to explain except I don't wake up as easily and when I do wake up it feels like i'm being pushed into the bed. It makes my lucid dreams a lot longer. So u guys should try it and tell me if it works for u or if it has worked in the past. |

Cheis. Dailo.
It's tough to bring someone back that never really lived.
I used to sleep on my stomach until I started having neck problems (turns out my neck doesn't appreciate having my head turned to the side all night long). |

I know what you are talking about because I sleep in a fairly similar position, but slightly more comfortable. Instead of being straight on my stomach so that I have to have my neck bent, I sleep on my side and then pull my top leg over and forward so that it tilts me downward, and have my hand under my pillow to support my head. Anyway I get SP a lot because of this, and pretty good LDs too I might add. I don't know whether to attribute it to the position though. |

Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.

i've been sleeping on my stomach(and sometimes without a pillow) for all my life as far as i can recall and i've never been able to stay awake long enough to feel the SP to set in....eh... |

Curiosity killed the cat but at least it didnt die an ignorant bastard
yeah I only feel it right when I wake up. It's like I'm being pushed into the bed. I haven't tried to move right when I get up because staying in the same position helps me remember my dream. |

For as long as I can remember I've always slept on my stomach and/or in a strange position. That way I can't remember dreams, it seems. But when I sleep on my back I remember. |

I used to think there were advantages from sleeping on your back, and in a sense I still do. However, what it amounted to was that I stayed awake longer when I slept on my back, because I wasn't used to it. I'm actually interested in knowing if posture does make a difference with any aspect of dreaming, because unfortunately I really can't sleep on my back anymore. Really wish I could. |
