Do you get what you need.....................

but not what you want in your Lucid Dreams. Or are you one of those people that has everthing showered upon them from above, no questions asked. However, do you not agree that to get what one needs is better. ( I mean "Spoilt Children" always seem to grow up as Brats. If you always get what you want, what can be learnt. Apart from being Hedonistic Lamers. Is it not better to Learn from one's dreams. ( If we were toatally in control and above all then there would be no need to Dream at all.
I'm Staring at you from behind. It's the Eyes on the back of your neck. Feel the Burn.

I get what I need and I often get what I want. But I am using LD's as a therapy tool more than anything so what I need is the better part of what I am also wanting. Did I make sense?

You know how people are always saying that we only use 10% of our Brains... well, what this means is that our Conscious Minds use 10% while our Subconscious Mind uses the other 90%.

In this mathematical relationship, our Subconscious Mind will have 9 votes for every 1 vote our Conscious Mind has. This is a great preponderance on the side of the Subconscious Mind. Therefore, in dreaming, the results and ends will always tilt toward the direction our Subconscious Mind wished to go.

Of course, considering that it has 90% of the intelligence, then we can infer that it must have a good deal of sense what is most for our own good. It may consider our conscious wants and desires, but ultimately it will provide for our best interests, that is, what we really need, whether that is what we want or not.

But this is not to say that we can't entirely alienate our Subconscious Mind. This is what I fear can possibly happen if one becomes too proficient in Dream Control... if one can become very expert in over-riding the Subconscious Mind to the point where all Subconscious Influence is shut off, well, then, what we have is a Triumph of the 10% of the Brain over the remaining 90%. Stupidity wins.
