Or I suppose the question could be restated, does lucid dreaming help make a person happier in waking life, or less happy?

I could see if either way. Some times when I have a lucid dream, I feel very happy after waking, but some times I wake up and hate reality and wish I could stay in the lucid dream.

How do you guys feel after a lucid dream?
Has anyone used lucid dreaming to help them cope with depression?
