Thread: Wrong times to do RC's :/

I have a part time job in a hardware store. Pretty big. Pretty well known. Pretty orange.

I was on the shop floor in the electrical aisle and I thought to myself am I in a dream? So i needed to whip out a classic RC. I looked to my right and saw a metric tonne of light switches. None of which are hooked up to the mains and would therefore not work. I was flicking random ones and then started laughing quite maniacally which attracted attention from a customer who asked if I was ok. I performed some other RC's to make sure I wasn't dreaming so that I wouldn't think she was a DC and start doing something wholly inappropriate which would ultimately result in the termination of my services.

Just wondering if anyone else has similar stories of when RC's like the light switch one don't work how they should and if they had any anecdotes to share.

That is a funny story.

I like to rely in my hands. Electronics always malfunction in dreams, but they may in real life. Once it happened to me that an elevator did a very odd stuff that told me I was dream and planned to do something crazy. but I checked my hand to find out that I was awake and that the elevator went berserk for some unknown reason lol.
