      A Late Starter

I have been lucid dreaming now for a long time now, sine about age 11 since then i have learnt to control my dreams and start my lucid dreams in the same way. I didnt know that these dreams i was having were lucid dreams, until i decided to research it on google, and am happy to find their are many who allso share the same experiences. Many times i have told my mum and she has laughed at me, obviously she has not experienced how amazing it can be.

I find that when i start to dream i have a sinking sensation and then my body is blown away as if made of sand, alternatively when i have to wake i feel like my body is being pulled out a grave. I am very eager to see how other people experience their dreams, they can feel so real once in my dream i was standing in the rain and i was amazed how real it felt against my skin truly amazing.

In other dreams, some in which i am aware im dreaming but dont have direct control i have had minor precognitions, for instance once i predicted a music video i had never seen, then saw it on tv the next day on its first exclusive showing. I never realise that these are precognitions until the event happens, sometimes it can be quite frightning.

I am really interested to find out how other people experience their dreams, as it must be different, please reply if u have anything to say about experiences or techniques.

First of all, welcome to the forum!

Just so's ya know, this is probably your body coming out of Sleep Paralysis. It happens to everybody, and it's pretty normal if you're coming straight out of an REM cycle. In a WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dream), you actually enter this state while still awake. Really awesome feeling.

Anyway, look around, have fun, and if you have a question, just ask!
