Im always lucid dreaming, but not purpose

Hello! Everytime I have a dream, aside from a few times, I can control it. This just recently started and I don't know why, but it is pretty cool. All of the dreams that used to be horror, such as my family being kidnapped and executed is now fun, because I control the dream, none of that happens, and when the guys with the guns show up I just blast em away with telekensis. So are some people just a natural lucid dreamer? I have done nothing to try and start a lucid dream.

I'm so jealous I could murder you. Jokes aside, I'm actually not a natural lucid dreamer. Actually a few people are natural lucid dreamers. Speculations about why some people are natural dreamers are actually being discussed and speculated upon by lucid dreamers alike. Some say it is because they've developed this ability through a lot of nightmares as a kid, others from learning to escape sleep paralysis and some from being more aware of their surroundings than "ordinary" people. Anyway, I would recommend you to retain the ability to lucid dream each night if you like it. You can use it to talk to your subconscious, learn about the dream world or even induce out-of-body experiences and "astral travel". Welcome to DreamViews though!

Also, this might sound a bit weird, but yes as a child I used to have these wild dreams, or I think they are, where I would run down the hall stealthily into the baby room and I would see all these people. In particular a little girl. Anyways one time I was running down the hall this tall black figure pushed me down on the couch and held me down. I could not scream no matter how hard I tried and the figure was much stronger than me. It was pretty weird, but it did happen.
