      Blob

      Don't know if anyone else has every observed this. If I close my eyes and look directly ahead, then suddenly look to the right, an amorphous greyish/white blob appears roughly in the direction where I was just looking. There's no blob when I look suddenly to the right with eyes open. I am, of course, thinking...

      Potential new reality check!

      Look suddenly to the right in an LD (while dream eyes are open) and the blob may appear.

      Somebody will have to try it for me, though. I will try it myself if I ever have an LD again, ha ha.

      I just tried it and I think the blob is caused by a tiny slit in your eyelids which allows some light to pass through creating a small blob. It may work considering is you were in a dream your eyes would actually be closed all the time and you'd be in your bedroom in the dark...

      I don't think that's what causes my blob, LDman.

      Maybe if this catches on I will change my name to "Blobblehat".
