      Stuck in half-lucid dream

Hey everyone! Long time Lucid Dreamer here. A few nights ago I had a lucid dream where I was only half in control and I was trying to wake myself up, but for the life of me I could not wake myself up. I think it was mostly because I wasn't in full control. I kind of knew I was dreaming/still not entirely sure. Has anyone had something like or similar to this? Thanks guys, Happy Lucid Dreaming!

You either knew you were dreaming, or not. It's either one or the either.
Also, control of the dream isn't a measure of lucidity. Control is subjective to the dream.

I usually have these kinds of dreams, where I know I am dreaming, but my awareness is at the bare minimum to really grasp that idea.
It happens when I don't write in my dream journal for a few days, or when I am stressed out.

      Cheers.

      Agreed
I myself once ago had high awareness and high quality lucid dream with absolutly zero control (Or maybe i've tried dream control the wrong way?)

Somehow i've come onto assumption that i might be dreaming.
I've looked at my left hand and it was acting weirdly in a manner that would be impossible in real life
So i was sure that i'm dreaming and decided to do some dream control stuff.
I couldn't do magical dream control stuff at all...
And then i've freaked out thinking that i might be not actually dreaming and might've fallen somehow into alternate reality lol
