Congrats. |

It only took me 3-4 months to achieve my first lucid dream. Might sound long but I've read about people not having them after years of trying. It has been pretty life changing for me. It's so hard to describe how it feels to be completely aware and concious in a dream. |

There is nothing like your first truly lucid dream. As you said, one of the best experiences in your life. But you will probably have some even better that really blow your mind! Glad you like flying... I started a web site awhile back called "Dream Flight Academy" because I really like flying too. |

The only things I did in my LD's are: |

Hi Goldenspark. Basically I was just doing RC's at first but then read somewhere that I should say to myself while going to sleep "1 I'm dreaming, 2 I'm dreaming etc". I'm guessing it was this method which got me to say to the girl from work "I'm dreaming!". Been carrying on with this but have still yet to achieve another lucid dream. I have quite vivid dreams too and almost always remember them in the morning. I get quite annoyed with myself and think "why didn't I realise when this happened or that happened?". Maybe I have got a bit lazy though and should be doing a little more. I do believe perseverance will get you there. Good luck!!! |

Sweet! I don't remember my very first lucid dream, but after a long dry spell, nothing compares to that feeling of getting back into it. You almost forget just how real and amazing everything is! |
