Hi fellow DVers,
As i try to wait out for my body to sleep, and continue retain my consciousness.
i will easily get into SP/REM Atonia? to some extend. where it is difficult to move your limbs. Not that i am afraid of sp, it feels nice.
however i always slip through into unconsciousness... sometimes with or without entering into a dream, and would hit a high vibrational state of mind that brings me back awake..
one instance: i flew/shot up from earth to space, and the vibrations grew very strong, a split second of realizing i am dreaming, and i wake up.
its like mind couldnt handle that high vibrational state.. so i woke.
I will be grateful, if i have some guide or advice of what is happening?
am i doing it correctly and what i should do?

member sageous mentioned:
People who are talking about their experiences in SP are really talking about their experiences in NREM sleep, which can include the vibrations, sensory deprivation, and other assorted bells and whistles associated with SP these days. This is sort of a shame, because consciously navigating NREM sleep is an adventure unto itself (and, BTW, the place the Tibetan sleep yogis like to visit) and to belittle it by calling it SP is to miss out on an otherwise good thing.
