      Ended up just waking up..

So last night was my first night in a while really attempting lucidity. I went to bed with the mantra, "You are dreaming" in my head. I ended up just having an unrestful night, where I would wake up, do a reality check, and fall back asleep. As far as I know, none were false awakenings. This happened like 13 or so times. I do remember dreams, but do not remember any lucidity. Is there a better way to go about this so that my waking mind isn't stuck in the real world? My goal was to communicate with my unconscious.

If you're prforming a reality check in a dream and it fails, you are not concious enough while preforming. Are you Really questioning reality? Is your mantra meaningful? If so, try napping mid day or adjusting your sleeping hours; you're more likely to remember your dreams without alarms waking you up, meaning you're getting the most out of sleep and you just stay in bed for a while after waking. Someimes, mantras just don't transfer until a few days, or you simply don't become lucid.

Also, don't ever doubt yourself. REALLY believe you Can do this! Remind yourself through out the day that you are a lucid dreamer, and maybe preform a realitycheck.

A good way to communicate with your subconscious is by listening to certain music before bed that has dialogue in it. For instance, I listen to this one track every night created by Stephen LaBerge, and in the track it constantly says "The next time I'm dreaming, I will realize that I am dreaming. Am I dreaming? Is this a dream?". Listen to this long enough, your subconscious picks it up. Then after some time you take out the music and go to sleep. This has been known to cause random moments of lucidity for alot of people. In a way, it really works as an effortless MILD.

"If we doubted our fears instead of doubting our dreams, imagine how much in life we'd accomplish." ~Joel Brown
"Your background and circumstances may have influenced who you are, but you are responsible for who you become." ~Darren Hardy

      Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams
