      Wasting time in LD

Had a very long LD early this morning, but annoyed because once again I feel like I wasted my time doing a bunch of nothing! Any advice I making good choices in the LD versus ones that accomplish nothing?

The first thing to do is set one or two clear, non-time-wasting goals before you go to sleep. Then, when you are in the dream, pause for a moment to remember those goals. Then, and most important, try to fulfill those goals.

Much of wasted time in a dream comes from not remembering that you can be doing more interesting things... a better connection to your memory will very likely help you make much better use of your time.
