      Question about naps?

I have just returned to this site after a long absence-so long that I forgot my old username- but I digress. I have a question about naps. A lot of people here say that naps can be good for Lds, but I have never had any luck with that. I take a nap every afternoon when I get home from work (about 5pm) and just go off to sleep, not even dreaming at all. Am I missing something? It would be great to be able to have dreams when I nap, as I mentioned I do it every day.

What is your sleep schedule for the day? If the nap is taken too late in the day, it could be taking the place of your first sleep cycle of the night, which is mostly NREM.

Im having the same problem Panrell, i feel like i may be dreaming but i just don't seem to remember them at all in a nap. Maybe its because I'm having them too late in the day as Dolphin says.

You dream during every complete sleep cycle (1.5 hours). You dream less in the earlier sleep cycles and more in the later ones.
