A new way of becoming lucid?

I heard that day dreaming helps with lucidity the same night, does it?

That probably depends on how "active" you are during those daydreams.
I would say that visualization, which I personally like to think of as "lucid daydreaming", can be very powerful, because you train your brain, and thus yourself, to visualize things and interact with them.
If anything, this should make it easier for you to become active and be able to make decisions during dreams, which is a major step towards lucidity.
