Dreams about the deceased

Hello everyone, Has anyone experienced lucid dreams about a deceased person? What's your opinion on these, do you think it is a projection or the actual "essence" or "spirit" of the person? I personally think it varies... some times they seem too knowledgeable and "alive" to be just projections IMO

It's been only two weeks, but I get dreams about my significant other almost everyday. I used to get dreams about her everyday before she passed away as well because we spent like over 15 hours daily together all our life, so I don't know for sure. I lost my lucidity since half a year ago, i'm trying to regain it.

Sorry about your loss bunnie It is very common to dream about someone close after they pass away... its just that in some dreams it really feels like them, I do believe they have the need to contact us from time to time

Sorry about your loss as well. I had a lucid dream with my dead grandmother in it. It was different than the many other dreams I've had with her in it, though. In this one, she was extremely realistic, and surrounded by a blue aura. We exchanged short messages to each other, and then she started crying, and phased out mid-sentence. I felt like her spirit was present, but I'm a bit on the romantic side.

Yes, I have LDs or regular dreams somewhat frequently about deceased relatives. Usually if not a lucid it becomes an almost lucid dream (I think I have an idea something isnt normal). Even though I dont believe in paranormal or supernatural, I must admit it feels like a real connection at times. Heck, other LDs do too when you connect with a DC. Last night I was kissing a pretty DC and it felt like she was my soul mate. Hard to convince yourself it isnt real....who knows?
