      It's all Gone!! Please Help

Hello whoever's reading this, I'm very concerned; I've been trying to lucid dream for two months and everything was going great. My recall and vividness improved until I had one or two crisp dreams a night. And then I had a DILD. And then I had a WILD. And now I'm at a loss because completely suddenly my recall went out the window. For the past week I haven't been able to remember the faintest detail. I've tried dream journaling on my disappointment, using present tense MILD, and even taking lemon balm. Can't remember a thing. What do I do? Thank you for reading all this and any ideas anyone has.

Move away from the idea of perfection and view everything as you would view the weather. Sometimes it's really sunny, sometimes it just a big mist and you can't see a thing. In other words do not judge yourself or the practise, just observe and experience and learn.

Instead of looking at this dream recall & vividness dryspell as something bad, look at what you can learn from it. Some of my biggest realizations and lessons was given to me when I experienced struggle.

As I said, do not look at set backs as something negative, that is thinking based on wanting a result. Instead look at it as a process of learning and nothing ever happens to you, only for you.

But general practical advice that I can give you that I have learned in my practise is: If you really want good recall learn meditation (read my guide and my Dream Journal to see how that works), get a good night of sleep and don't snooze in the morning.
There is more that you can do of course, but in my experience these two things is all that is needed to get out of a dryspell.

So strive towards learning and finding a balanced lifestyle and let go of frustration and desire, just enjoy the practise and the journey in itself.

      Peace

It happens... progress in LD isn't linear.

When this happens give yourself a break, drop you dream journal for a couple nights... relax and let go of the frustration. I will tell you one thing I've noticed, the more frustrated you become the less likely you will fulfill your goals, so let go!
