      Proper dreaming recall

      Hey there, lately my recall is getting better but i got issues.I've heard the best way to recall your dreams is to go backwards.Whenever i wake up i just remember random events and one brings the other.After i have done that i then put them into arrangement but i dont really go backwards its hard to do.I tend to start from the "beggining" although im not sure where i started from and where it ended.What should i do for proper recall for best results?Thanks

      For the beginning you should try to find just key-words first. You don't have to remember all your dream, maybe just a fragment, then try to remember everything from that part (details). Going backwards is helpful (I do it sometimes) but othertimes you just don't remember what happen or this was too abstract so don't blame yourself for that. Keep writing DJ. There is no "best way" in anything if it's about dreams, people are different. You must find "your best way", of course you can search for it from others but remember that there is no universal method. You can try thinking of places, people, animals, things which are often in your dreams (or just random thoughts) and then your mind may associate something.

      Where should i focus most to detect my signs?i tend to even write down my thoughts,will that help?

      Everything helps! I do it too. Well, I recently create some crazy statistics of my dream signs, you can just underline them in your journal and see what appears most often. It can be anything as I said (people, places, feelings, colors, animals, sounds, activities...). I don't know your dreams, you'll find out this by yourself. You now, it's just one of a helpful methods. For example, some people like to draw their dreams. And on the morning before you stand up just give yourself few minutes with closed eyes and calm so you can remember more. On the forum are many, many methods which you can check out and try.
