here's a question for anyone. Did you discover Lucid dreams or did Lucid dreams discover you? |

~ Leonardo da Vinci
Yes, to both. When I was young I would have these unusual dreams that no one could fingure what I meant. I forgot about it after a while and just went about my life. Then one day a co-worker brought "Lucid Dreaming" to work and started talking about it. It was like a revelation. Now I know what those dreams were. |

Sort of both. I remember one Lucid Dream before hearing about them. When I realized it was a dream, I tried opening my eyes in real life and it worked and they spazzed out and stuff like that. Then I told the people in my dream that it was a dream and that if they tried really hard, they could open their real eyes too (even though they were DCs. I thought they were dreaming too and were real or something lol.). It wasn't a very high lucidity LD, even though it is one of the main dreams I remember still today. I think much of it. Maybe only for a couple of days. Then, about two years later, I'm on the Warp Pipe Technologies forums which I used to go to a lot. Somebody started a "Dreams" thread. I go in there and one of the members links me here. I read the main site introduction thing, wide-eye, and became obsessed. Got my first real LD a month or two later and my second one this a short time ago. |
