What's possible and what's not?

Is it possible that you can control everything in a LD (being super lucid). I want to expand on this, to be able to do this shouldn't it be all about one's awareness? Isn't everything about awareness? Time dilation is it possible?

Read this thread: Advanced Dream Controllers Thread I especially like the replies from Sageous and Sensei - they seem very logical to me and make a lot of sense based on my own experiences. I personally of course never got that close to full control (even during my best days), but some aspects I can personally agree with. About time dilation - I agree with Sageous' view on it. Since you can't fool yourself while having such a huge in-dream awareness, the only way to dilate time is by either making up fake memories (but you'll know they're fake), or by skipping forward in time (but that's not true dilation), or by experiencing less stuff during a long period of time (like seeing the dream in fast motion) - either way I don't think you can experience more than the time you actually have to dream. But that's just my opinion - as I said, I'm not that experienced yet...

Thank you so much for sharing that thread! I've been away from DV for a bit and I completely missed that one. It was a great read! As for time dilation being possible, I don't like to say that anything is 'impossible', but in the past I have often been a bit skeptical about genuine time dilation (rather than contraction) being something that is really done with consciousness alone. However, my partner has had some amazing experiences with it and she is starting to make me into a bit more of a believer.
