Lucid dreaming wrist band?

Hello Dreamviews,

I've been playing with the idea of making a wristband that helps you remember to do reality checks and was wondering if anyone else would be interested.

Here is my idea.

A wristband kind of like a fitbit that vibrates, flashes red lights, and beeps at a programmed interval. Of course the watch would be programmed to disable or enable each function as the user sees fit. The band would be made of silicone to ensure that the electronics remain waterproof so you could take it in the shower.

So I figure I could use this watch in conjunction with my Remee facemask or I could use it as a stand alone product. The band would really help me with remembering to do Reality Checks.

I know I can just use my phone at programmed interval for free but personally I think I would like to have the flashing red lights and the vibration on my wrist. Plus it's tedious to have to alway pull out my phone and stop the phone from beeping.

Anyways If you all would be interested I would set up a kickstarter to help this get funded after I do more research.

I have used this technique before and it takes time and effort, but does work:

I made myself a bracelet earlier this year with the intention that in my dreams it will glow. This created a reality check of which when I look at my bracelet, if it's glowing I'm dreaming. This is hard to remember though as you do get used to wearing the bracelet and forgot to use it as a reality check. However after a month or so in a dream I realized I was dreaming, looked at my bracelet, and sure enough it was glowing.

I would imagine combining this with technology could create something really strong and could definitely work.

Thank you for the kind words, and I would love to see pictures of the bracelet you made. I think I'm going to make a few bracelets regardless if anyone else in interested I just want one so bad, I'm very bad at remembering anything so I know this will help with reality checks.

Yep sure, sadly my bracelet is analog which is why it was hard to remind myself every time I looked at it. I choose it to be just thread as that it was strictly impossible for it to glow in real life, therefore easy to tell in dreams.

I like what you mean, you're using it as a reality check. Do you think you if it had a timed light on it would the bracelet have been a better reality check?

Um I think it would help you remember explicitly to do a reality check when it flashes yes. As for better though I'm not sure the reality check would be anymore trusted in dreams, it just helps remind you easier in real life,
