I'll try not to complain too much and just get to my question. Here's the thing. Lucidity feels IMPOSSIBLE. At least staying aware during the day is. It's exhausting and I can't stand it.
I want to try a mantra before bed, but I am unable to focus on it for more than ten seconds. All my worries about life end up filling my head.
I guess the question is: Does anybody have ways to "cleanse" your mind of problems so you can focus on lucidity or mantras? How do you let go of concerns?
After wanting my first lucid dream for over five years, I suppose I am a bit frustrated. My recall is fine, though. A dream journal is all I do right now in terms of lucid dreaming. I've tried WBTB a few times, but no luck yet.
Hope this isn't too pointless of a post. I just wish lucid dreaming came easier for everybody. Starting to think I will never have that first moment of lucidity.
