I have felt this in lucid dreams too, and I would consider it a good thing unless it is a negative emotion like in your example. I would compare it to a good movie. You know the way a movie can affect your emotions when it is really well done? Like when someone is treated unfairly in a movie and it just makes you angry?

When I am watching a movie and I want to cry I think to myself "This is just a movie, no one really died, that is just an actor pretending to be dead." or something similar. Even though obviously I know I am watching a movie. Maybe when you see something scary in a lucid dream like you mentioned you can remind yourself "this is a dream, this person can't actually hurt me, I am dreaming". I hope that helped or at least got you thinking! Good luck!
Hi, nope that is not what I meant to say xD Charles3 did a great job figuring out what I was trying to say. I've only had Stage 2 LC and I needed a little bit of help getting to the next stage
