Hello. I recently bought a brand new Aurora off of ebay for $10. The hardware looks perfectly usable, but the iWinks app disappeared years ago. I’m not really sure what happened to iWinks, but they definitely had a legit product and sort of just disappeared. I was looking for other solutions online and found an open-source version of the Aurora app that apparently doesn’t need the server to run.

I’m no programmer, so I’ve been going through hell while trying to run it. Has anyone ever used this? If so, how did you make it work? If you had another solution, feel free to talk about that too.
Honestly, the world of LD tech is dead as of now IMHO. So many unfulfilled promises and scams. Looking at all of the defunct products from last decade is so depressing. Hopefully that will change in this decade.
