Thread: Dreaming that I'm not dreaming

I thought this was very interesting.

The other night, I had a dream where I was in my room with two friends. I started talking about dreams. I said "Now, you can tell if you're dreaming if the lighting is different than in real life." As an example, I motioned out my window. The sky was a collage of orange, purple, and blue. In fact, it emanated light of those colors, so it reflected off the wavy snow to create a very beautiful, strange effect. Apparently I saw this as nothing out of the ordinary; "See, this is pretty normal lighting. In a dream the colors would be all weird."

...I don't remember any more. It's funny, it's like a dream sign gone wrong. Some people would go lucid at that point, upon realizing that this is in fact a dream, but not me.
