      White noise and LD's

Moderators please excuse this post. I remember seeing it before but I have been unable to locate it.

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on using white noise. Does it help/hurt your ability to LD?

I like to leave my fan on at night. I find it helps me get to sleep faster, which I suppose gives me more time for lucid dreams.

By the way, is your name really Levi? Because that's my name.

The dream is still in my head
I heave a sigh and sadly smile

Not fade like all my dreams” —Rush

I use a fan every night to go to sleep, and so far no luck at a lucid. But then again I just started trying to be lucid, so it might just be a case of time.
