      Non-lucid dreams evolve too

      Hey guys and gals 8)

I've been lucid dreaming for about 2 months now It's been awsome.
I think one of the factors why I was so quick getting my first lucid dream (3 days) was because I remember my dreams really well, and have since I was a child. I can usually remember 4-5 dreams from each night if they are in fragmenst, or a whole big continous dream if I have one of those (which isent often).

Anyway, the thing is, I've noticed that since I started lucid dreaming my non-lucid dreams have become different. It seems that my consciousness is much more in non-lucid dreams than before.

      An example:
Last night I dreamt I was in the states at a footballgame(american) and a woman, which I don't know, gave me the keys to her car. Now, if this dream would have occured before I started lucid dreaming I would have taken the keys and most likely lead to nothing, though there ofcourse would have been a possibility that I would have used the keys or done something with them. But ok, In the dream she gives me the keys, and I think: "Why is she giving me the keys" ? But I take them and head off down some stairs, to the parkinglot and try to find the car. She had described it as an old mazda car (made in japan) and I started looking for the car. Now this would not have happened before I started lucid dreaming.

When we practice lucid-dreaming we are practising mental awareness. We are then trying to imply this in our dreams. So its natural that our ordinary dreams are also more rational, or at least we are in them. But this practice shoulnt just improve our awareness in dreams, it should in real life. Im yet to see any improvement in my awareness of my surroundings, but Im sure they are to come.

I think Ive began noticing more in my surroundings, and its made my memory better. On monday I had a test which Id only done 10 minutes revison on that morning because I forgot about it (whoops) I got a 79% because the diagrams on it were stuck in my head. Also earlier at school I noticed a sign at school that I hadnt noticed before but I knew was always there (a small sign that no one takes notice of)

But the being more rational thing in my dreams I havent experienced, last night in a dream I did a reality check (the finger through my hand) and I didnt go lucid.
I can't say I really know anything about what you're talkinga bout , but I said plausible because of that incredibly cool blind spot trick .

The rememberance of dreams also enhances the memory of real life events as well. When we take the time to recall dreams, we are opening up to the deeper chambers of our mind, and making information retrieval from there a whole lot easier. It also has a "feeling" or a sensation of confidence linked to it, at least in my experience to recall data and detail. There is no more uninhibited thought process at that projected within dreams.
