Anyone fall and actually hit the ground?

Hi everyone. I just registered, and though i have not had a self induced LD yet, I have had several occasions where I was falling, either from a tall building or bridge, but most often, while sitting on a bus, the bus takes a sharp turn and tips over and I have a window seat on the side that is about to hit.

Regardless of whether or not I am falling on a bus or from thousands of feet up, I always hit the ground in my dream, and suffer serious injury. I don't feel any pain, but I can tell that my body is broken.

I fall, and as I approach the ground I know that this will be mortally damaging to my body, and I am afraid of dying, and then I hit the ground with a "wham" and the rushing turns to complete silence, but I can still see (usually just a close-up of dirt or pavement) and then the most memorable and distinct thing happens: a noise occurs in my ears that sounds like an electrical crackling.

Then I drift up and awake, usually a little sweaty.

Anyone else hit the ground? What is it like for you?

I usually wake up as I hit the ground from a fall, when I don't its always something strange like my body turns to jello and I just lay there, or I appear in an inverted world at the top, just weird sensations but never like what would really happen, as in broken bones.

I usually wake up right when whatever I am in(elevator, car, etc.) hits the ground like first contact, and I know that it is either from over stimulation(I feel falling very vividly) or my brain is too lazy to calculate the damage(like what would happen to the car and myself as it crashes into the ground)

I often black out just before I hit the ground, but I dont remember ever being injured from a fall...

You might be hurt because you expect to be hurt...

Yes! Although it doesn't hurt for me and I am immediately awake when I feel the "thump." But I don't like it... I don't like it at all! I don't like waking up to world feeling like I've just hit rock bottom, or that I am "lower" than I once was. Like the waking up is some sort of accident that happens when I trip and fall somewhere else? Damn, that's hard to get over.
