I second, third and fourth that! It does give me more abstract dreams than usual though.

Even a simple drug like alcohol can really mess with you. Especially your ability to become lucid!

I don't mean to be acting like I'm stoned right now, (Which I am.) but how can one criticize something without experiencing?

I am sorry if you felt that I was criticizing you, I surely was not.

I was only stating an opinion that drugs can mess with your lucidity. I was also giving CocoDan a pat on the back for making a life choice and encouraging him to not let anyone talk him into doing something he does not believe in.

I used to do weed, a long time ago, but walked away from it. It was my choice, just as it is your choice to use.

Now I drink, sometimes more than I should, sometime not at all. I have noticed on the nights when I drink more than a couple of glasses that I do not get lucid.

No, I was just talking about the person above me declaring drugs are bad. But that's his opinion I guess.

Sorry about that. Never tried any drug(except alcohol), never will.(except alcohol.)

yes! i stay away from most drugs unless i have to, from pain or puking.

When i used to smoke weed, i hated the cotton mouth feeling after waking up, and the empty stomach, yelling at me so loud that a mountain could have probably collapsed.

To me, weed works like a charm...

me too, I could fill a bath sometimes, and it takes ages, I hardly ever smoke it though, makes me really lazy which is bad as Im lazy enough as it is!

Anyway, one day my parents went out and left me at home. I invited all my friends over, and they took drugs. I think it was LSD or something. Anyway, it was weird watching them.

One of them, Robert, was on the floor crawling about. I asked him what he was doing, and he looked up at me with this very weird, dazed kind of look on his face and said \"I'm a pink furry snail\". And he just kept crawling about for 3 hours thinking he was this snail.

Come on, even you can think of an easy example. Say there's this drug called "utopia", or something, and when it comes in contact with Human cells, it kills them insantly. A scientist may place a few cells in a dish, and then place the drug on it. He would then notice the drug killing the cells. Therefore he could criticize the drug without actually experiencing it (he did not take the drug).

And how exactly do you know he hasn't experienced it, anyway?

i for one love going to sleep high. b/c after the primary funny dumb shit, i just feel real chill and going to sleep is like a natural progression. and oh man, espesially when u are gone enough to get the body vibes, now thats fun. just getting really comfy and warm and chill while u are getting those body vibes, very enjoyable. but with that whole bashing something u've never tried, i don't really agree with that and the example about the fresh eating disease is a bad one. thats like saying u know suicide is bad so u don't try it, well no shit. but with drugs its different. trying pot isn't ganna kill u, hell shooting herion once won't kill u either. i think if u wanna experiment than more power to u, but u should research what your ganna do before hand and also keep a level head, but people that write somthing off without ever experiencing it seem just kinda close minding. like saying i don't want to try chocolate cake cause its bad for you and i'm not ganna like it. well maybe if u tried it you'd change your mind. but if u just don't want to try somthing u can say its not somthing u wanna do but u should make stupid generalizations thats its bad, thats just silly.

Well, I do agree - certain drugs are very good. "Bad trips" are bad...

I've done many drugs in the past but usually only smoke pot now. I think it helps me dream. I know it doesn't hurt. It helps me relax and be calm. That leads to me laying down and going to sleep alot easier. But thats just me.

Meh, dont smoke pot often. I hate joints, I cant stand the taste. I prefer it with a bong, and something to wash the taste away, I really hate that.
I cant stand a normal cigarette much either, even though I used to smoke for a little while, heh...

how can you say there aren't consequences? getting caught... thats a consequence.

I don't see the long term benifit in any of it. And drugs have killed a lot of people around me (and if they aren't dead they are really screwed up), I don't wanna die yet and I don't want to wish I were dead. so I will stay away from the drugs.
