      Dejá Vu and Dreaming

I have Dejá Vu in cycles, like I'll have it a lot for a short while and then not at all for months. Then the cycle starts again. Anyway, I've been in the middle of one of these cycles lately, having deja vu mildly everynow and then all through the week. I think it's transfered into my dreams but to the power of ten though. I had a 4 very very vivid dreams last night and had the most overwhelming sense of deja vu in two of them. But it was like a twisted Deja Vu, I'd go to a place and know that I had been there before, in fact I could recall memories of what I'd done when I was there before. But they haven't happened. The weirdest part was, the way I was seeing the places now was distorted. For instance, the first dream was of a theme park and I had all these memories of being there and wandering around and going on rides with friends and queing for rides etc (all very clear and vivd in themselves). However in this dream last night, the whole park had been semi-submerged in water and you had to get around everywhere in canoe. In one of my last dreams of the night, it happened again. I walked past a shop in the counrtyside and I knew for a fact I'd been there before. Except I hadn't. I remembered it being run by an old woman and me and my sister buying sweets there. When I walked in last night, it was run by some asian guy. With the first dream, I think it might have been a case of remembering something I dreamt about before and reliving the environment but the second dream really smacked of Dejá Vu. I had the feeling that I was re-enacting something that had already happened but the details that I expected to happen were slightly skewed.
Anything like this happen to anyone else before or am I just losing it?

I think I know what he's talking about. Don't worry you are not losing it. I had many of these experiences myself before, except mine are more specific, like doing certain things. I can't explain it myself why it happens or why you don't remember it until you see it again.

I thought Deja Vu was having something happen and remembering it as being exactly as its happene before... except for the fact it never did.

I went to the place in the dream but got deja vu in the dream

Yeah, that's what was happening in the dream, I'm terrible at explaning things. Basically, I would go to a place in the dream and get that deja vu sensation, that feeling of 'wow, this exact event has happened before', I'd then have some sort of 'memory' of the place (with the theme park it was of going on rides etc, with the shop it was knowing the woman who ran the shope) except things would be twisted. Like the woman didn't actually work in the shop, and the park was submerged in water. I'd keep getting the Deja vu sensation quickly followed by a memory that was then proved to be completly wrong by the dream. I still don't understand why this kept happening.

      Weird stuff

I the expierances I have had with deja vues were not in the dream realm. But when they happen, it is like I am one step behind what is going to happen next. Thats what makes it cool. If you could tap into it to where you know what event was going to take place before it happens
It could just be stored memories recalling a very similar situation.
