Change your attitude. Change it to not acting like a 5-yeard-old =D

Just have patience. I allso tried a few times, no luck yet. Not that much people succed the first time they try it you know.

I've tried it loads of times. Got it to work once but not with quite the right results (lacking a body :/ ). I find just 'falling asleep normally and hoping for the best' slightly more reliable.

I've never been able to WILD successfully either. If it is causing you frustration, I would suggest trying other methods to attain lucidity. The ones that work the best for me are MILD and WBTB. You can always come back to trying WILD later if you want.

see the problem is. every tutorial i read for astral projecting. thats how u do it. its sorta like wilding in a way. i guess. like almost no diff. so if i can't do that i cant astral . does anybody have any sugestions? sorry about being a 5 year old before it was right after i gave up. i used to be able to meditate for really long and get really weird feelings. but after i got a gf for the first time. i lost focus. im trying so hard to get it back

Well for me, i cant just lay on my bed for an hour with my eyes closed and just expect myself to pop into a wild (unless it is a dream re-entry wbtb wild) . For me, its more than just laying there. I have to kind of hypnotize or force myself to make me go into a wild. What i do is i lay in my pitch black room with my eyes closed for about 30 minutes until my body cant move from sleep paralysis, then when my eyes are shut, i sort of check the suroundings in my eyelids for hynological imagry. Once i see how large the area of it is, i stare straight without moving my eyes and just imagine the outter side of my eyelids getting darker and wider until it feels as if my whole head is clouded and i no longer have a limit to what i see in my eyelids, but 360 vision (i know its, confusing) after that, i just relax and let the WILD take its course and numb my body until i see dream images.

They key is really sleep paralysis for me, the more my hands/arms feel numb and "inverted", the better chance i can put myself into a dream. Sometimes i can almost do a WILD but if something happens and i accidently stop the proccess, my entire body will feel all messed up (in a good way) like for example it will feel as if my left arm is my right and my right arm is my left, or even my hands feeling like they are in different positions (upside down, or not there at all)

Killamanjaro made up every point, the only sugestion I would add to that is that you should try to not think about wilding or get expactative of things, like if you think because your not shaking it won't happen and start waiting for your body to shake, most of the times I've don it I don't tremble or shake at all, I just feel how my blood pressure gets high in some places, like the back of my neck, I feel it so hard like if my heart was there instead of my chest, pretty cool . Just keep trying but don't force it or you won't sleep at all, and never get frustrated. Good Luck, and if you wild, post your experience
