      Teleporting

Anyone ever tried to teleport in a dream. Ex: I am on the earth and want to go to the moon! Has anybody tried to do that before? If so, does anyone have any hints, or successfully done it before?

I've heard of others on this board that has been able to teleport to other places...I don't know if the moon was one of them though. I've tried teleporting, but was unsuccessful. Flying is a riot though.

Hi titlecade, I often like to visualize my destination first. In this example, you could look at the moon directly from the Earth and decide to go there at lightspeed. With proper concentration and confidence you'll get there in about two seconds. While this is technically travelling, you'll be there so quickly it will be like teleporting.

Happy adventures and please let us know when you succeed.
Do you seriously think that blood is the only thing in this world that is colored red?

Now that you mention it, I have never really spent any time in space. I flew through ti once just to get to a house ( on earth) at super speeds.... odd.

yeah i pretty much teleport in every LD i have (i cant fly too great atm )

It's extremely simple and easy, iv found two ways that work for me,

Way A: find a wall/ mirror/ window and dive through it visualizing where you want to be when you come out the other side

Way B: kneel down and look at your palms and examine them so closely that it seems that they are the world (pretty easy to do actually) and then when you look up just "know what your going to see

i dont know if you consider these teleportation but whatever

I've always thought then when I teleport in a dream ( Every Lucid I have...I can never remember to try it. ) I Imagine holding my hand out and a White spec of bright light appears. Then It turns into a thin horizontal Line...then the line spreads out to make a kinda Extra-demensional Door.

I think I saw this on a movie or something.

I've only been able to teleport very short distances, like to the other side of a window/ fence/ cage wall (!) where I could see exactly where I would 'land'. I just will my self to pass through, and I just appear on the other side instantly. Got the idea from the game Soul Reaver, in which the character can pass through fences/other 'walls' with holes. Need to practice this more.

For travel I pretty much only use teleportation, though if i do fly, I find its more of a low gravity jump, and the distance, if it was 20 miles, would somehow be shortened to about 300 yards

Flying sort of makes me lose my lucidity, teleportation seems to increase it

I'll hafta try this then. I can relate with the low-gravity jump, and loss of lucididty.

Last time I was lucid, I decided to try something different to relocate myself. I "drew" a circle on the nearest wall with my finger, and the told myself that it was a portal to my destination. I stepped through, and instantly was in an unfamiliar place. I didn't know what the place should actually look like, so don't really know if I hit the target or not. I guess next time I should try going somewhere I've been before.
