Hemi-Sync Lucid Dreaming Series - Anyone Use it?

I recently started using the Hemi Sync Lucid dreaming series and wondered if anyone else uses it?

This is my background and experience so far. My results are actually kinda sad I normally have and always have had great dream recall. I've never kept a journal, but I can pretty much always remember at least 1-2 dreams per night consistently. I had had a few LD's but didn't really know what they were until I found DV. Then I managed to have a few more and loved it. I've been on kind of a slow streak and wanted to boost it up a bit.

So three days ago I started using the Hemi-Sync LD Series... My results are mixed. First off, there are four levels to it. The first one wakes you up at your REM cycle so you can record your dream and work on your dream recall. I skipped this level as I already had pretty good DR. I jumped directly to the second level that has talking that kind of walks you through relaxation and then gently reminds you that you are sleeping at the appropriate time so you can get better at realizing you are dreaming. The third level has no reminders, it just has the hemi-sync sounds. The first three levels are designed to be listened to once through. The fourth level you can listen to looping through the night.

So I listened to level two the first night as I was going to sleep and had a mild LD. I did realize I was dreaming, I did have control, but the dream was very fuzzy and I couldn't get it to be very clear. I am assuming that this is because it was the first REM stage of the night. When I awoke the next morning I felt groggy and could just barely remember that LD and could NOT remember any of my other dreams at all.

The next night I listened to it again with similar results. I had basically no DR, felt groggy and had an LD that was fuzzy and hard to remember other than little bits and pieces.

Last night I listened to it again because I wanted to give it a chance before I ditched it altogether. I always fall asleep quickly so I don't manage to hear all that the guy says to prepare you for the LD. However last night I had fallen asleep during the relaxation part of the exercise and when he started to talk I realized I was in a partial SP stage. The whole bed was swaying and I felt heavy, but light as a feather at the same time...it was a very strange sensation. This continued on for a little bit and then suddenly stopped. Since I was startled awake I had a hard time going right back to sleep, but eventually managed to do it. However, I yet again had no DR and no LD last night. The rest of the sensations were amazing, so I don't consider it a loss, but I did feel groggy again this morning.

Has anyone else used this product with success? I don't want to lose my DR, so I'm considering not using it again. I also thought about using it as a kind of WBTB technique by waking up at 3am and listening to it. It runs for 90 minutes, and it's suppose to raise your awareness at the right time, so I was thinking that it might not work since REM sleep is longer and you might not necessarily be in bed for another 90 minutes for the thing to wake you up at the right time. (wow, that was a run on sentence ). I normally just hope for DILD's because once I wake up early in the morning it takes me a very long time to go back to sleep. If I get up and walk around at all I might as well stay up because it will be a LONG time before I get tired enough to fall asleep again. So I'm hoping that maybe the binaural beats in the hemi-sync will be enough to lure me back to sleep.

I'm just curious what everyone elses results were with this program?

I have the Hemi Sync Lucid dreaming series and haven't used it yet, but judging from your experience I don't think I'll try it. I have good dream recall, wake up several times a night, and have come close to lucid dreaming, so I don't want to risk a setback.

But then everyone's mileage may vary...

It's good to hear that a lot of people use it...Do you know when they listen to it? Right before going to bed or half way through the night?? Do you use it?

I'm still interested in using it, but I want to know how everyone else is using it to see if I get better results. I don't want to keep using it if I am going to lose all DR and only have fuzzy LD's.

Yeah I have just downloaded them a few days ago, with the help of projectw. I have started to use them and so far they have been quite good.
