      Damnit.

I can vividly recall this night's dream. it wasnty that wierd, but in the only strange part, i clearly recall doing an RC. the watch one. 3 times. (i think i also plunged my nose).
No lucidity for me, not today, at least.
and if RC's won't work for me... what will i do?

      yours, upset,

Aw, that's a bummer. The best thing to do is to start practicing multiple Css. This way you may go Lucid using one of them, rather then just relying on a single test.

I tried the nose plug check and it worked for me. It's a wierd feeling, it's like you're breathing, but blowing your nose at the same time. I think the problem is you aren't doing the reality checks with meaning, your just doing them. You need to do the check then think I can't breath, so I must be awake.

Well one of you first problems might be stressing out so much about it. It seems like you are a little overwhelmed because the title of your post was "dammit." Frustration might just curse you. I wish you good luck.

Important wit an RC is what you Really question or you are dreaming or not. Not just look at your watch. Think about it: Am I dreaming? Use the RC's to be sure you are not, or are =)

I recommend the Hypnosis (HILD) technique. I had my first lucid dream in June just two nights after using this technique and only 3 nights after discovering this site, and my frequency has remained fairly steady since, without me even really trying. I've had 11 lucid dreams in the last 2 weeks without any reality checks or other techniques besides hypnosis. I've never once intentionally tried to WILD, as I always thought it would be way too difficult, but as I used the hypnosis more often, I've even started finding myself WILD'ing without ever intending to. WILD's just kind of happen naturally for me sometimes now. It's really quite weird.

Try the "Insomnia Cure" over at http://www.remotehypnosis.com/ (shhh... don't tell anyone, but it's actually for lucid dream induction, hehe. )

Ive done the nose one and thought I couldnt breath, then I sort of paused nd di it agina, andI realized I actually could breathe, it just didnt feel likei t aqt first.

Yeah dont just do the RCs, make them have meaning, any time you do a RC even if it fails, you should think enough that you realize you are dreaming anyway.
