      Reality check practice when watching TV

      Does anyone practice doing reality checks (RC) when they watch television? I watch TV for about an hour a day, and there is usually a much higher frequency of odd things happening than they do in reality. So I imagine doing frequent RCs when even something slightly odd happens on TV would quickly trigger the mind to think of doing a RC when things happen in reality and in a dream.

      I propose this because not enough odd things happen in my waking life to "burn" it into my mind to do RCs. RCing when watching TV should theoretically help you to develop the habit faster.

      do you mean like, if a character randomly explodes on a cartoon to do a reality check? Ive been thinking of doing that but I mainly watch cartoons,and it would consist of me constantly doing reality checks, I mean watching spongebob squarepants would be hell, everytime one of them speaks youd have to do a reality check lol
      I can't say I really know anything about what you're talkinga bout , but I said plausible because of that incredibly cool blind spot trick .

      no i dont think that would work considering it would be hard to do a "true" reality check every time something weird happens
